Kevin Wunrow
Realtor®
Raised in Wisconsin, Kevin Wunrow has never lost his attraction for the north woods. After owning and operating a wholesale tropical plant nursery outside Seattle for thirteen years from the mid 80s to the late 90s, Kevin, his wife Therese, and two young children headed for the island of Gau, in the Fiji Islands, where Kevin spent the next eight years building a solar-powered wilderness lodge on a half-mile of white sand beach while Therese home-schooled son Zac and daughter Rose.
Kevin and family then spent two years in Akaroa, New Zealand while work on the lodge was being finished and four years ago they decided to make East Montpelier their permanent home. Zac graduated from U-32 High School last year and is in pre-medicine at Swarthmore College and Rose, now in her junior year, is a three sport athlete and an award winning poet.
After playing principal harp with the Seattle Symphony for eight years, then selling her harps to buy cement and lumber in Fiji, since moving to Montpelier, Therese has played principal harp with the Vermont Philharmonic and has worked for the past four years as a kindergarten para-educator at Williamstown Elementary School.
