About Tim

Tim Heney is your trusted guide to real estate in Vermont's Capital Region. With deep roots in the community, Tim understands the unique charm and appeal of calling this area home. Over the years, his participation in various City committees reflects his interests and commitment to his beloved hometown. Recently, Tim served on the Montpelier City Council and is Treasurer of the Montpelier Foundation. A Rotarian since 1983, Tim also remains active on the Scholarship Committee.

Having grown up in Montpelier surrounded by siblings, Tim knows the ins and outs of the area like few others. His education at Montpelier schools and UVM further solidified his connection to the region. In 1981, he joined his family's real estate brokerage. In addition to a career focused on residential and commercial sales, Tim assisted in the creation and development of neighborhoods including Independence Green and Freedom Drive, North Park, Essex Way in Montpelier and Mansfield Lane in Berlin.
